England is home to a vast range of insect life. The familiar ladybird is a popular insect which eats aphids, the bain of every gardener and allottment holder.
However this is only one of countless species.
Apart from some noteable exceptions (house spiders, bumblebees, dragonflys and stag beetles) almost all our insects are very small and easily overlooked. However there is a wonderful world of insects to explore if you take the time too look.
