Buxted Park Hotel near Lewes, East Sussex is amazing. We have now been there three times. The location is ideal for exploring the south coast. You can drive there from London in less than an hour and a half, and find yourself in a beautiful mansion with bags of style and a price tag you will find hard to beat. We used it as a base for day trips to Brighton, Lewes, the South Downs and the Ashdown forest.
