British Prime Ministers
The actual term 'Prime Minister' was first used for the role of the chief minister of state in the early 20th Century when it was officially applied to Henry Campbell-Bannerman. However the role of Prime Minister presiding over a cabinet came into existence in roughly its present form in 1721 with the permiership of Sir Robert Walpole during the reign of King George I.
