Harold Godwinson
Last Saxon King of England 1066AD
Harold was supposedly killed by an arrow in his eye at the battle of Hastings. This is because the Bayeux tapestry has the words 'Harold Rex' above a picture of a knight with an arrow in his eye. However, closeby is another figure on a horse being slain. It is perhaps more likely that this figure is supposed to represent the death of the last Saxon King of England.
