Beer
Beer is a great name for a seaside town. Actually it is a pretty place too. The white cliffs are part of the same rock formation that includes the famous white cliffs of Dover.
Back in the Neolithic, flints mined from the chalk at Beer were being traded all over the West Country.
These days the village is best known for tourism.
