Harrow etymology

The name Harrow has nothing to do with the ploughing implement of the same name. It actually derives from the Saxon 'Herga' meaning holy place.

In the churchyard at the top of the hill, Byron's view look out over playing fields. Lovely spot for a bit of solitary thinking.
