Bourton-on-the-Water
Bourton-on-the-Water is a delightful town for visitors. The river Windrush runs right throught the centre of towns beneath six low arched bridges. It really is very pretty.
At one end of town Birdland has been home to about 500 birds for over 50 years.

Golden Bourton You didn't say what Bourton looks like. All the houses in Bourton on the water are built of a lovely local sunset yellow sandstone. In the afternoon light the whole village has a golden radiance. it is quite spectacular, particularly after a shower. Sally Charles |
