Bath
Bath is a very classy old town. Highlights include the Aquae Sulis Roman Baths, the most staggeringly well preserved Roman remains in England. The Georgian pump room is lovely, but anyone payig 50 pence to drink a glass of eggy sulphurous water needs their head examined.
Sally Lunn's is a great place for a sarnie and then you can hit the shops. Bath really is a treat and does not dissapoint the visitor.

Christmas in Bath If you are looking for a great way to spend the holiday season, you should consider spending Christmas in Bath. A Christmas in Great Britain, when done right, can seem like you have just stepped back in time. Great Britain is a place unlike any other in the world, and Bath is one of its greatest treasures. Some streets look as if they have stepped directly out of a Charles Dickens novel, while in the centre of town the heritage stretches som much further back, to the 2000 year old spa from which the modern name of Bath derives. Bath is great for shopping but you will experience less of the the materialism of American christmases. Pretty much all the attractions in the town remain open every day expect Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Chris |

Christmas Market in Bath The Christmas market is now a massive event. Early in December the centre of Bath is full of temporary shops selling christmas crafts and treats. Chris |
